The app and its permissions/tools will change depending on the role of the worker who is logged in.
Kiosk/Device View
Timeclock can be set up as a kiosk. You will need to set the user role as "Device" when setting up a worker. The application can be loaded onto a mobile device or tablet and left at a fixed location. Workers can scan a badge or QR code at a given location and select from a list of actions. Multiple device can be distributed throughout your site to seamlessly track work and breaks in multiple areas. Here is more information on using the scanner within TImeclock.
Supervisor View
Timeclock can be used on a supervisor-managed device. Users will see this view when they have been assigned the role "Supervisor" or "Admin". The application can be loaded onto a mobile device or tablet to be carried by a supervisor. One or more supervisors can scan worker badges to complete actions. The supervisor will be in charge of completing worker actions.
As a supervisor you have access to the in-app dashboards regarding worker data as well as the scanner. This includes the dashboards with workers current status and workers with missed clock-ins. You can find your dashboards in the far left tab on the toolbar on the bottom of the screen. 
Moving left to right on the tool bar, the next tab is the Issues page. This tab shows you all instances that need additional information. More information on the Issues page here. 
The following tab is the Scanner. You will use this to clock-in/out and break-in/break-out workers. More information on how to clock in workers with the scanner click here.
Your next tab is the Configure Workers tab. Here you can manually add and edit all workers at your site. You can add workers with the Add Worker button at the top of the screen. You can edit a worker by clicking the button on the far right of their row under the Edit column. More information on editing workers here.
On the far right of the tool bar is the device settings menu. Here you can change the default camera for the scanner.
