What is Tendrel Pinpoint?
Tendrel Pinpoint is a mobile application that lets you track the geolocation of employees and assets at your work site.
How it Works
The default screen of the Tendrel Pinpoint is a map. When a worker is logged into Pinpoint on their mobile device, they can click "Check In" to begin emitting their geolocation back to Tendrel. No specialized equipment is needed besides the mobile device.
Within the Pinpoint app, workers can view their recorded location history and see detailed recreations of their paths.
Supervisors have additional privileges in the application. They can view the recorded location history for any team members, with the same ability to view paths. Supervisors can also access a map that displays the last-known location of every team member.
Supervisors can access those same views on the web, with the ability to review recorded paths or view last known locations from a web browser.
Geofences
Optionally, users can set a geo-fence to mark the boundary of their site. When a geofence is configured, tracking is limited to within the geofence. When a user is outside the geofence, Tendrel will record their last-known location within the geofence.
