New Features

Configure Workers: Simplified worker creation

  • Creating a worker has been simplified to only require the worker’s name and an optional scan code.
    • Login information is now optional for new workers. Workers without login information can still be tracked within the platform, but will not be able to log into the app.
    • This change applies to both the core Tendrel app and the Timeclock app.

Check-In Application: New manual refresh button

  • A button for manually refreshing data has been added to the Timeclock app.
    • The refresh button is available on the scan screen, and after scanning a worker. Clicking this button will sync the data on your phone with the latest available data.

Check-In Application: Pair QR codes to worker scan codes

  • When creating or editing a worker, the scan code can be automatically set by scanning a QR code.
    • Clicking the scan icon within the scan code field will open up a camera window. Scanning a QR code will fill the scan code with the associated text.

Additional Changes

  • Simplified Timeclock setup by removing location selection.
  • Logging an exception time from the in-app Timeclock dashboard now defaults to the day you are editing, rather than the current day.
  • Performance improvements to improve data synchronization across devices.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where sometimes users would have to double click to perform actions from within the Timeclock app
  • Fixed a bug where android users couldn’t add workers from Timeclock app
  • Fixed bug where default values for text boxes weren’t being recognized
